Sino-Islamist relations and Iran

Maybe China is coming around.

China reluctantly has backed Security Council efforts to call Iran to account, but its commitment to meaningful economic penalties is not assured. Acknowledging it needs China and a similarly skeptical Russia to make any punishment stick, the U.S. is crossing its fingers for a Chinese 'yes' vote but would settle for an abstention.

Again it comes down to the various corporations that are dealing with the Islamist Fascists, not the whole of China per se. The Islamists need the funds more to finance their "wipe out Israel" plan. So the Chinese need to talk to Israelis. Olmert go to China please.

Can the Islamists in Iran create trouble for the Chinese in their western provinces? And then you have the likes of Wal-Mart that have a lot of clout in China. Imagine them pulling out of China. That will give the Chinese something to think about.
