News made by people
Perhaps the best form of news and comments on news is the development of the Blog, and in particular sites like Digg. With Blog tool, every Iranian has published their view. But we Iranians do not have an equivalent of Digg. If you go to Digg and then placed "Iran" in the search field you would get what people think are good pieces of news on Iran, and then people give you credit for doing just that. Now that is the opposite of your BBC news service, that picks and chooses what it thinks is "News". Mind you Digg is occupied mostly by techies and US people, so again news on Iran is not that balanced.
News wires on Iran
There is a subtle difference between news feeds and news wires. NewsNow is at the moment the mother of all news wires. This is the link to the Iran feed in it. They even have a ranking system on the number of clicks on the right hand side of their page. So you can see what is really popular. Again a great tool to catch up on missed stories.

News feeds on Iran
Perhaps one of the best places to get a lot of news on Iran is the Google link for Iran news arranged in chronological order. This one really updates quickly, but gets repetitive. So you need to click the relevance link and that tends to tidy it up a bit. But then you can miss a lot of news with that option.
Religions don't deserve special treatment
Do you think anyone in Iran could ever make a comment like this:
And stay alive afterwards?"It is time to refuse to tip-toe around people who claim respect, consideration, special treatment, or any other kind of immunity, on the grounds that they have a religious faith, as if having faith were a privilege-endowing virtue, as if it were noble to believe in unsupported claims and ancient superstitions."
