Well folks I think that the more this whole boat crisis drags on, the worse it will be for UK's Labour Party. I see this as the same scenario as Carter. The UK press very rarely picks of matters of national security. But a division could occur and the Conservatives could break ranks, and start to say that they would have acted more aggressively than the softly softly approach, as more people begin to moan to the press.
This would attract a lot of money from US arms manufacturers and you can guess the rest. Yup I can see the US really having a great time cutting down Labour, and then a brand new bunch of young Conservatives might take charge. That is actually quite good b/c then EU would not mean that much to the Brits, and it is back to UK becoming like the US and we will be all chewing gum again. Oh gee whizz!
