How the word "Hezbollah" stole the word "Iran"

In Persian we have a saying that, "he puts the food in his mouth, via his neck", "Loghma ra az pushte gardanesh too dahanesh mizareh". Read on and find the simplest solution to the mess we are in.

In a hundred or a thousand years from now, you will find that some comedian, will say just that about the current situation in Iran. Why do I say that? Because the answer to Iran's problems is very simple. Call me what you like, but I see one common factor amongst all the problems. It is not a political, religious, or a cultural one. Nope, nothing to do with democracy and freedom and all that jazz. Guess. Now don't cheat and read on. Pause and think. Think. Think again. Ask yourself, "what is it that is everywhere when we write about Iran? It does not matter what the point we are making is, we are always using it. Think. Well the answer, duh brain, is the word "Iran".

There are situations when we must not use the word "Iran". In Persian we stick to this rule very carefully, we will use the word "Hezbollahi" or "Hezbollah", to describe those people who have those particular ideologies. We do not say, "An Iranian killed an Iranian woman, for wearing a mini-skirt" do we? We say, "A Hezbollahi killed a .... ". So why is it that the such reports are spun differently, when it is written in another language. Get my drift? That is what I am "on about" as they say in Cokney English.

"No respect" as Ali G. would say. And it is not just written by foreigners. An Iranian reporter writing for AP does it all the time. And unlike here, where we get a kick where it hurts, when we are out of line, these people do not get hit. Their words spread like shit hitting a fan. And we Iranians are seriously pissed off, when we see that incorrect word and syntax, is everywhere. "Khak bar saresh" we say. For this reason alone I set up a group in Wall Street Journal, where I point out these articles. Have a look, you will be greatly amused.

The Hezbollahis are not responsible for this situation. You would think that they would be, if you keep thinking that they are clearly anti-Iranian. But look a bit out of the box. Their websites very clearly use the correct terminologies to push their own cause. A virus has a cause, you might not like its cause, and label it a virus, but it has a cause. I have put links there, and you can see for yourself that the Hezbollahis stick to their phraseologies very clearly.

Is it the Arabs? Well those false nationalists that think that all our problems are rooted in blaming "Arabs" would think so. We won't go into all that here. That is a real Ashreshteh, and it will take a while for you to digest that. But look at the Arab Spring. They showed that their Sunni system does not allow religious government, and that is why they do not like the Kingdom of Islam, as the Seyyeds want under their Shiite system. If there ever was Royalty in the world, it is the Seyyeds', who are the most organised Royalty in the world. They do not consider Iranian culture as part of their system. They need a new Kingdom in Najaf, and a seat in UN called, Ayatollah Shiite System (ASS) right alongside The Holy See.

You are pissed off at the state of the poor in the world. You want to blame someone. So what do you do? You look at the rich ones. Naturally you end up in America. That is what everyone does. Never mind that most of the people in America started from nothing. "American Capitalist Pig" is the scream. Who benefits from this? Well you would think the Hezbollahis do. Think again. The US government's way of spending its own taxpayers' money, is what is at the root of all this. Look at US GDP chart and learn. Who benefits from all that money? The US military suppliers. They love war.

Ahhh .. now mebeenee ke I am right. I remember when the war in Iraq started, US TV was interviewing this woman, who said that, with use of Tomahawks in Iraq, she would seriously improve her job situation. Never mind that they still didn't have decent housing, school or medical system. At least she could go and get money for making weapons to kill people in Iraq. The current administration is trying hard to cut down the size of the military expenditure. Now the same situation applied to Iran under the Shahanshah. And the moment he stopped buying, he was out. The Hezbollahis are wasting the public purse just the same way. They are creating a lot of fear for the military suppliers. They are not out. The moment they talk peace, and they are out. So how are they portrayed?

The word "Taliban" is used in Afghanistan to identify a unique group. The word "Afghanistan" is not used when the Taliban have been in involved. So when the US warplanes hit the Taliban in Afghanistan, the situation is contained. The same goes for the word "Hezbollah" in the Lebanon. In Lebanese politics reports they even say "Iranian guards ..." and say "Hezbollah in Lebanon", when they should say Hezbollah in Lebanon and Iran. I have shown the articles at the Wall Street link above.

Imagine if they used the word "Hezbollah" in the same way, when they were talking about the nuclear program. Just recently someone who really should know better, used the word "Iran" in the title, when he really should have used "Hezbollah". Now if he had used the word "Hezbollah", and all the Israeli press did the same, then the nuclear rights of Iranians would not be mixed up with the nuclear ambitions of the Hezbollah in Iran and elsehwere.

I hope I have been clear and precise. I am sure that in the long run, we as writers, cannot fight them or contain them with swords, but if we are going to win with words, then we must use the correct words to contain them. Certain people know what they are doing is wrong. Some don't know what they are doing is wrong.

Abusing the name of Iran

If you open the first page of human history, you will see that for the first time on Earth some human beings in this part of Earth wanted to have peace on Earth and bulid a civilization.

Civilization began when the people felt they were not a threat to their neighbour and could cooperate t build a better life on Earth. Ancient Iranians invented writing an this was neccessary in order that information could regarding property could be passed down. The Pro-Elamite language is the mother of all languages. The ancient Iranians wrote a lot and much of it has been lost by religious invasions that wanted to establish themselves by destroying the past. Of course that has failed and we Iranians via the vocal tradition have kept the ancient books. The Zend Avesta is one such book and its ancient chapters connect to the Rig Veda. These are books that relate to 12780 years of history as based on the Hezar Bahreh calendar.

So the roots of Iranians are very deep, perhaps the deepest as the famous Gnome project suggests. Iran was the central hub from which human migration from Africa crossed the Straits of Hormuz and the dispersed all over the continent. So the Iranian plateau has been the cross roads of civilizations for millennia. That is why three world Empires each three hundred years were created by the people and each lasted three hundred years. This could not be done if there were no strong between the individual people in that area. So the ability of Iranians to be civil is the strongest.

In literature the people of Iran have contributed to works that have shown our ability to be civil. You only need to look at Hafez or Saadi or Molana that were written after religion was destroyed that we see the Iranians create and flourish. So religion was the only force that manged to prevent Iranfrom development from the 7th Century to the 11th. For two hundred years the art of Iran grew and Iranians fourished.

The power of religion managed to destroy the ability of Iranians to be at peace and create. This has been the Achilles heal of Iran and recently it has been used to keep Iran down. The people who have the weapons have terrorised the peace loving Iranians. The weapon traders of this world and other people who do not want a ressurgence of Iran, have helped the Ayatollahs to remain. But the people of Iran have defied the Ayatollahs everyday non violently as recently as 20 March, when we carried out our Noruz ceremony at the exact time of 23:21 GMT of the Spring Vernal Equinox as we have for the past 12780 years. But the world media will not refer to it, as much as it should because they want to keep the Ayatollahs in power, even though they just have guns, and no love from Iranians. The last thing the media want is civilized Iranians running Iran.

So Iran has been the Bogey Man of the area. No one knows of our historical heritage. They see us as Moslem fanatics, hell bent on being the arch enemy of USA. Of course this only benefits the US which needs fear to keep its military industry alive. The moment there are other better enemies for the US then they will let Iranians get rid of the Ayatollahs, and not them fool the world with their own fake opposition pretending to want regime change.

Please do not refer to the activities of the Ayatollahs, as Iranian. Respect the word "Iran" and keep it separate from the horrible things the Ayatollahs are doing to Iran's heritage.

Misrepresentation

At first I thought I would just tweet it, and then send him a direct message. But now I hear voices that tell me, differently. We all hear voices from our Free Will and we are moved by them when they shout at us. And this is becoming louder to me all the time.

One thing that is important to all Iranians is representation. The culture of Iran is not represented properly at the moment from any institution. In fact there are plently of institutions whose job is to misrepresent Iran. But the Royal Institution of Iran has a mandate, and it is not political, religious, or financial. It represent all that is purely cultural.

The debate over cultural itself as distinct from the political, religious, and commercial is important. I am not going to dwell on that here. But what I hear in my heart is the voice deep from the past. Democracy it cries is a process based on Free Will and the ability to choose, or Gozineshi. That is first mentioned in the Zend-Avesta.

When the person in charge of the Royal Institution does not know that the Zend-Avesta is at the heart of Iranian culture, and that Gozineshi is at the heart of Zend-Avesta, then we have a disconnect.

I know that Cyrus Reza Pahlavi is doing his best, but serious mistakes like this, especially in front of the Greeks is madness. Even Alexander the Great who is half Iranian is turning in his grave.

The voices have calmed down. Phew.

China calls for restarting Iran nuclear talks

The Iranian nation, not the Islamic cult with guns, has been held hostage by China's business practices.

Obama has been black mailed in not taking tough actions on companies that deal with the Islamic regime and US that are based in China.

China is provider of labour and buys US bonds. So the US is in collusion with the Chinese. The left wing in US does not look at the peace dividend if there were military cut backs if there was a non violent regime in Iran.

For our part I say, find another enemy and leave Iran to develop peacefully. Let us have regime change by recognising the true Iranians who put Iran first. Iranians that love Iranian culture that is the oldest in the world and is part of the human heritage.

Hooray as the Ayatollahs are cornered

For how long has the world helped the Ayatollahs remain in power just because they thought they could pretend to be representing Iran, and abuse the income they received for their own agenda.

The world has a duty. It must use the correct wording when it comes to describing the behaviour of the Islamic State. This BBC report uses the word Iran in the wrong context, as it is the Ayatollahs activities they are describing not the behaviours of Iranians.

Iranians have been under the sanctions of the Islamic State ever since 1979. Some would argue that Iranians have been under this inquisition since it was brought back again after the Monguls wiped Islam from Iran and allowed Iranian culture to flourish again. All our famous poets and art flourished under the Monguls. Just look at the miniatures and the poems of Hafez.

It took a bitter force like Islam to stop Iran becoming great and many do not want Iran to be the great force in West Asia. But it will be.

The power of BBC propaganda over Iranian scientists

You know how I hate the BBC. Why? Because it is huge and it's heard by everyone. So it is only important because it makes a big splash, like a big ugly elephant jumping into water. This time it is making waves over the nuclear power plant that has just kick started in the port of Bushehr. Soo what's the big deal Ali you say? Well old fogies like me know stuff that should be put in reports like this and the BBC does "disinformation by omission" very well. They do not tell people that Iran had the full trust of the world in the 60's and 70's. What has changed? The Ayatollahs' invasion of Iran is what has changed. Just like the Nazis took power in Germany, and ruined the reputation of German scientists, these monsters have ruined the reputation of Iranian scientists. The world relies on the media to inform them properly, and the English tax payer is being abused. As a public service, the BBC must give a balanced report, but it does not. It portrays the Ayatollahs as legit. The Ayatollahs rely on the BBC to spread their propaganda, and it works. This is worse than an invasion of Iran in the physical form, with tanks and missiles. In some ways if the Ayatollahs has marched into Iran with an army and took on Iran bravely like soldiers do, then they would have been dealt with a mighty blow. But Islam is illusive and has no centre as such. There is no Pope or Vatican to hold everything responsible. But the people of Iran have managed to gather all the influencial people in this dogma in the government, so that they can be seen in clear day light. We have given them the feeling of power, but have managed to find them all in the process. Their policies are front and centre. The Ayatollahs have seen with their own eyes how successful or unsuccessful they have been with the Iranians. Over years they lost the heart and soul of Iranians. No Iranian calls their children Mohammad. Iranians feel a deeper allegiance to Iranian culture that links to modern world. The phrase Good Thoughts, Good Words, Good Deeds, has more power than any sentence in the Koran. So we have distilled this element out of the Iranian world, and it is contained in what is a massive recycling bin. We have effectively quarantined it like a virus in a computer. Now every now and then this worm tries to show that it is doing something for Iran's sake, like this nuclear stuff. But the people know better, even if the BBC does not.

Iran, Shirin Ebadi, Non-Violence and World Cup 2010

You wonder why this Iranian women with a Nobel Peace Prize, is begging the Ayatollahs to change. She is not interested in using her accolade to create a non-violent movement, that will benefit all. Let me explain. She states, that if the regime does not change, then no one will benefit from the situation. The non-violent movement, unlike the violent movements, does not justify its violence under "the end justifies the means" principle", like George Bush used in his invasion of Iraq. Just because you want "Democracy" or "Human Rights", that does not mean you go out of your house and battle.

We are humans, and as human beings we can use peace to be united. The non-violent movement is united along peaceful lines, and it will eventually unite all of the people of Iran. Currently we have a small minority ruling over us with weapons, and also in the process of building weapons of mass destruction. Iran is rich in mineral and human resources, but they have been used to build weapons of mass destruction to defend this small but potent Ayatollah regime. What is more important, the United States of America's military industrial complex, needs to have the threat element, in order to justify its existence in the Persian Gulf area. The small minority's forces (IRGC), use their Mahdi Cause and the threat of USA, to siphon the energy and resources of Iranians, to build weapons of mass destruction. The never ending exchanges between the US and the Ayatollah regime has bought time for the regime and the US to carry plundering their peoples wealth, for useless violent causes. The world media is of course involved in selling exciting news regarding all this.

We in Iran have withstood the changes the Ayatollahs have tried to make in Iran, in trying to wipe out our culture, from changing the name, to to changing the flag, to changing the national anthem. We have stopped them non-violently and the Ayatollahs have retreated. We know who they are, what they are doing, and they are cornered in their ivory towers of power. They control the media and some streets. But they still rely on the people of Iran to make bread for them, as they make bread for themselves. They are like leaches. But the people of Iran use other new more modern media systems to peacefully connect with each other. We are the second largest bloggers in the world. We used Twitter to tell the world how bad the media is, by reporting things the mass media like BBC and AP do not, because they are afraid of the Ayatollahs shutting them out of Iran. Citizen Journalism is rife in Iran, and has saved Iranian culture.

With the advent of the World Cup, the regime will get a lot of pressure on it, as the youth in Iran will use this occasion to greet and meet, and assemble. World Cup excites nationalism and Iranian nationalism is what the politicians, religious leaders hate. Their ideologies go counter to nationalism and they will use God or Democracy to get rid of any thing that is Iranian. But Iranian culture is based on Love and Peace. Our poetry and philosophy united us, and the world knows this. Iranians have not defeated, but overcome and absorbed any invader or ruler, be it internal or external. This ruler is internal, and it makes itself look Iranian, and speaks on behalf of Iranians. World powers and agencies, that support it, speak of it as if it represents Iran. This regime does not represent Iran or Iranians. It represents its own narrow minded version of Islam first, and then Iran. It has no respect for any other kind of order. So for Shirin Ebadi to try to deal with the regime, instead of talking about the peaceful change that will take place, whether the regime likes it or not, is wrong. The regime is small and insignificant and does not need to be begged at to consider change. The peaceful change in Iran will not hurt the regime, and will create a new Iran, where we can all live with each other. This is not what Mrs Ebadi says. She talks of a situation that will not benefit all. She is wrong.

Why the US won't talk to the Hezbollah.

Fact is that once the US starts to talk to the Hezbollah, or the Ayatollahs, then people's imagination will not ride wild. People will then be able to see and feel the debates with the Hezbollah and the Ayatollahs, and the "fear factor" would be diminished.

So who benefits from this "fear factor"? Well the US forces themselves. With no fear, then there would be no need for the US forces in the area. The US military budget needs to be maintained.

Iran's Ayatollahs are more interested in centrifuges

It is not that they want to have nuclear medicine shoved down people throats for photos, which is what they are saying the rods are for.

But look at this report. It clearly shows the kind of sanctions the Ayatollahs have placed on Iranians. We don't have enough fuel and we it all goes to China for them to make toys for the US consumers.

If Iranians had access to cheap fuel and proper cars to not pollute the country (which is another problem) then an Iranian would be able to function better than anyone in the world.

Why has it taken so long? The US does not want Iran to become the next Japan of the Asia. They used the myth of "democracy" to destabilize Iran. Remember that we had a pseudo-democracy much better than the Ayatollah one, before 1979. At the time the worry was USSR and Communists wiping out our culture. Now we have Islamists wiping out Iran.

Hopefully the oil company that has struggled to modernize with this regime, can get more funding, and sort out the problem. I remember when we had problems with oil wells going down, because the Ayatollahs were more interested in other things.

The internal struggle in Iran continues. The non-violent approach by engineers and others to educate and change the Ayatollahs has been a long struggle. Iran would not be in this situation if we did not have aliens running our country.

Can't have it both ways on Iran

You can't have Hillary Clinton say one thing, and then Turkey and Brazil, say another thing. Is the UN behind the sanctions or not? And what in the world is China up to; saying yes to both sides of the equation. This is all a bit silly.

Let's be practical. The day the fuel is about to be delivered to Turkey, Qom will say no. The likes of Jannati will not allow it, and they control the regime. The days when their Foreign Ministry (the old Reform Camp) had power, are gone. If anything the die-hards will kick out Ahmadinejad.

Now for those sanctions. If the US really wanted to do anything, they would close down banks that operated in Iran and US. They would stop those Chinese companies dealing in US and Iran. That will not happen.

So all of this is just a superb way to waste time. It makes good "news", and the media makes money printing it. Meanwhile the US stays in the area wasting money on military.

Nothing has changed. But the non-violent movement moves forward.

Notice how fast the Xinhua is on the uptake on some of the news relating to Iran. In this item the power of the gangsters in Iran (IRGC) and other areas in the world is seen.

Iran has not attacked anyone literally through its conventional forces. The Ayatollahs that put Islam above Iranian culture have their own gangsters. Yes they are close to folks like Bin Laden, and the Chinese. This the new force that has taken on the world powers.

The Chinese are not the real cause. The real cause are the Chinese Banks and other US companies that are manufacturing via slave labour, and cheap Ayatollah Oil from Iran.

If the US created a positive direct relationship via the Ayatollahs' Foreign Ministry in Iran, then another bunch of "nicer" gansters would be involved. They are the so called reformers, and they even included The Greens (Mousavi et al).

But from an Iranian culture perspective the Ayatollahs who put Iran after Islam, this is all part of their dogma. The Ayatollahs want to change the whole world with their allegiance to their Mahdi or their last Emperor that has disappeared. They want another Empire of their own for the world.

We Iranians have our own culture that is older than the Chinese culture. The Chinese refer to Iranians in ancient times as Persians, and everyone else as Barbarians. Yes that is true. The concept of dualism is from the Zend Avesta, that predates China by thousands of years. Our Ancients are from the last stellar alignment some 26000 years ago. All will be revealed in 2012 Yalda.

Why am I saying all this. Because the ancient that binds the Chinese and Persians is on a revival. This is what the Age of Aquarius is bringing on to the world. A new partnership has to be established on a firmer more ancient root.

From Theocracy to Democracy to Democrazy

Your Royal Highness has a mandate to act. Unfortnately you have, once again, given us a sophomoric update instead. The Royal Institution of Iran acts when the culture is at risk of being wiped out. Please tell us what you want to do.

What do you think that means? We Iranians have a Prince who is in charge of the Royal Institution, and does not carry out his job. The Royal Institution defends the culture of the country. His inaction has helped Iran to become an Islamic State. Strong words? Maybe, but necessary.

My ancestor, who was the last King of the Qajars, at least admitted that he did not want to carry out his duty, and left it to Reza Shah (his grand father) to ask to be a President, and the Parliament made him the new King. HRH the Crown Prince is not doing his duty, in this time of need. He writes like a Journalist. He is not a Journalist.

What do we Iranian then do. We then think of abandoning the Royal Institution, and sell our country to the abuses of democracy. Yes democracy can kill a country's national character. Think of this. One day you wake up and you see the name of Mount Demavand changed to Mount Khomeini. Then what? It was voted by the Ayatollah poodles in their so called Majlis. That is democracy becoming democrazy.

We in the Islamic State, and that is what it is, as it not Iran, have obviously no one to defend the history of Iran that defends Iran's culture. People have literally hidden Iran's culture under their beds. We get our Prince in exile lecturing us over and over again, but he does nothing.

If this was the past and HRH Crown Prince Cyrus Reza Pahlavi was stuck in Iran, the situation would have been different. He would have had to act his job. But he has not. I would do it, and many better than me would do it, but he has to do what my ancestors did. We gave our house in Saadabad for pittance to his grandad, and he did resurrect Iran. His dad was born in that house. But what has this Prince done.

As an Astrologer I know how bad Mars in Cancer can be, and the Prince has that. So has the UN, and that is why there is not action in both. If you do not understand Astrology then I am sorry, but that is the reason for this situation. What we have here is a drummer, not a lead guitarist. He needs to get his band together now.

The Generals that sold Iran to the Ayatollahs

I have reprinted an extract from a book that is free on Google, that tells you of the exact events that led to the loss of Iran to the Moslems. The Generals effectively took charge at around 10 am on Februrary 11 1979. It was coordinated by a man called Fardust, because he stopped the loyalty to The Crown.

Fardust was the Shah's closest man, and he let Iran down. Nowadays his friend is a man called AA Dareini and he works for AP. For years I have been seeing his articles all over the world, as an AP correspondent. Did he write fairly on Iran? Did he write about how Iranians resisted the Islamification of Iran with the Nowruz Pagan culture and won. Our ancient farm festivals in praise of nature and life have given Iranians the will to live and resist the death worship of Islam.

As you all know, I go to sites and take on anyone, but this guy Dareini was always hidding. The other day I found his page in Newsvine, and I put the above questions there. Recently I followed another link to his page and found I could not log in. Wow, my first ever. Never has anyone blocked my non-violent approach, and that includes the pro-regime sites and forums. So it goes to show where the problem is. The problem is media, and it is a problem because people do not know how much influence these writers have. People think they know everything, but they don't.

Oh it sickens me how educated Iranians, did not dwell into more philosophical, more Earthly, how does one say, more natural way of approaching life. Iranians at the time of the Shah, were either the structured modern sort, you know Scientists, Doctors, Military people, or they were more common sense traders. All of them blindly accepted Islam, because it did not interfere. This is what caught us all by surprise. But if we had respected our own pagan philosophy written in The Zend Avesta and followed Astrology then we would not be tempted by violence.

I am pleased to say that we are now finally beginning to see the non-violent approach and we are getting there. Many of those born with Saturn in Libra are finally old enough to be involved in the new Iran.

I do not agree with a lot that has been said. The Iranians, like myself began as conscientious objectors to this illegal regime from 12th Feb 1979.

I had relatives employed in the oil and petrochemicals, and they, like me, objected to the new directives being sent out by the mullahs.

Every place, every important meeting had an IRGC or mullah sniffing around. But the non-violent movement in Iran was born to stop them from the progress of Iran. Iranians defeated their wishes from the 12th February 1979.

But the problem was that the world refused to note the mullahs being defeated. The world focused on the warmongering of Khomeini and let the war with Iraq start. That killed Iranians. It was then very difficult to stop that. But we managed at the end. But a lot of Iranians became Basij and that sustained the mullahs.

Oh they managed to change the flag, the anthem, and many names. They even wanted to bulldoze Persepolis. But the ancient ruins remain, and more have been found as new roads had to be built. The people of Iran do not use Islamic names to name their children anymore. The backlash has been a blessing in disguise. A new Iran has been born in stealth out of this tragedy.

There is a level of doubt that has risen purely from the foreign policy of the mullahs, and their sense of world order. In the time of the Shah, the US did not mind even if Iran had the bomb. From the moment that Obama got elected I said that, the US military wanted to have a proper young man at the helm, that can really tackle the roots of the problems in Iran.

George Bush's cowboy stuff did not really convince anyone, and everyone saw him as a con. This guy Obama is different. Right from the start he has been seen as the black darling of the world. He reminds me of the days when Sidney Poitier came to Hollywood, and how he represented the Ambassador of the Blacks in Hollywood.

So the US military managed with one simple act, be able to present to the world a new clean proper look to the world. Whatever this man said was going to be accepted. They did not have an embarrasing cowboy kid in the White House. This very educated polished black man was going to smooth talk the US up the moral ladder again. The EU was in love with the US. The left in Germany were nuts over him.

But I said then, that after a year, folks like Jannati will not budge and this extended hand of Obama's will have a gun at the end of it, no sooner than the final days of the nuclear talks are over. Once the US is out of Iraq for good, real war will be fought. That is not the drug war the US is fighting in Afghanistan. That is something they need for themselves. Cheap supplies for their own men and women of narcotics is there for all at Helmand, as it has been since the days of the silk route.

So what is the real war. The real war is the might of the young Iranians and other Western Asians. As cultures that created the world's first civilization well before China and other Eastern Asians, we have the energy and the location to become the centre of civilization as we were in the times of Cyrus the Great, We developed the planet Earth along human rights and the world had three three hundred year Empires that moved humanity forward. The Persian Pride that is in all Iranians, is what this war is about.

The people of Western Asia know that their energy is being siphoned off by China to build cheap materials by their political dissidents for the likes of Wal-Mart. The major US companies are not interested in losing market share to huge companies that will grow in Western Asia and put Iran at the centre of the world as it always had. The US companies want to make sure that Iran is destroyed by a force like the mullahs in combat with the US. The last thing they want is a peaceful economically prospering Iran, that will put them out of business.

Why Iran is in this mess and its solution.

The typical historical references to the time of the Shah are actually incorrect. Connecting what was done at the time of the Shah with now is incorrect. The left wing does not apologise for what it did in the time of the Shah, and Trita is not doing it now. The purely democratic ideology does not work in an ancient culture. Iran like many old nations has many other cultural elements that have to be considered, before it is cut up by the blunt democratic tool. Things are not black and white, and Mossadegh was not God. At that time the fear of the Communist Party selling Iran to the Russians was great amongst the world. The world press exaggerated all this, and the result was complete economic disaster for Iran whilst Mossadegh was around.

I know all this to be true because my father was a leading industrialists at the time of Mossadegh. He advised Mossadegh not to make such a big deal and not to allow the oil price to rise. The world of oil was and is in the hands of the distributers, and Mossadegh refused to understand this simple fact. He thought that just having the oil is the be and end all of it all. He built a political scenario around this, and like Khomeini tried to convince the people that the Shah stood at the ports and filled his pockets with money. He promised great revenues for the people of Iran, and like Khomeini, got power but never delivered. Luckily his rent-a-crowds were not around for too long and the people did worry about his dealings with the Communists. Mentioning Mossadegh at the time of the Shah was as if you were talking about the Russians. So the people did see a threat to their freedom. We did have elections at the time of the Shah, but like this Theocracy it was protected against the radicals. These radicals do not give credit to the fact that the Shah was on the side of Ancient Iranian culture, whilst the Khomeinists put Islam above Iran. Iran comes before Islam or Democracy in my and many Iranians' lives. Trita et al think like the mullahs in that ideology - namely democracy (a political ideology) should come above Iranian culture.

The spirit of Iran, rooted in its ancient culture propelled Iranians to put Iran on the map and make it the great nation it was. There was good reason for the 2500 year celebrations. But some people in the left called it a "tea party". They money and effort that was put towards the research to find out about Iran's history is what has kept Iran's dignity now. As we know Iran prospered under the Shah so much that it was ahead of Turkey and South Korea by most economic measures, and plans were afoot to make Iran and Western Asia the world's next power house. But as many people have written in the past thirty years, the world does not like "Persian Pride". Yes we Iranians do carry a big chip on our shoulder, as we look at the ancient history books, and wonder why were are not the Empire of the world. We have instead become a pariah state.

So there are important reasons why everyday we hear horribe news from Iran. The world press does not look at the Good Iranians who are working in many countries and in Iran, and could give Iran the honour and glory it has in its spirit. Imagine what Iran would have been if the Shah had told the world that he is dying from cancer and that it is about time that he was not the place where the buck stops. You see, in Iran, no one wanted to take responsibility for anything. Like most developing nations the people were more interested in being told what to do than to take risks and do things on their own. Look at the number of graduates in Iran, look at the number of new businesses being set up every day, and then look at the unemployment figures. Why you would say aren't new businesses being set up for a country with so much wealth from natural resources and room to grow?

So the people who were fished out and sent to Iran were carefully selected and are supported to rule Iran, to stop Iran from growing. We have the highest brain drain in the world. Every child wants to leave Iran, whilst all the venture capitalists want to get a good connection with a mullah that they can rely on, because Iran economically speaking is the most undervalued nation in the world. Why the mullah? Because the mullah does not allow sane Iranians who want to build Iranian culture to do business. That leaves a bunch of gunmen and drug dealer to do business with the mullahs. But look at the companies that do trade in Iran and you will see that most companies trade at book value or less. You cannot get that measure anywhere else.

If it was not for the plans drawn up by the minds of the 70's that were logical as opposed to political, that are being carried out now, Iran would not have gotten this far. The people had to fight the mullah who right from the start did not want the modern state. To them it was seen as too western. Once the mullahs took power they wanted to reverse all funds into all the modern projects. It brings to mind the story of the Shirly Brothers who 16th Century planted tomatoes and once the local mullah found out the profit they were making, he ordered them to be flattened. And so the joke goes "when did Iran not catch up with the west?" It was at that point in time when the mullahs and the Safavids lost against the modernity, and now they want to turn the clocks back to then. Iran comes second to them.

Inside the Iranian is a zest for development and the world that hates competition from a new Japan, always supported forces that stop Iran from modernizing. The removal of the Shah was not so much removal of the Shah, but to stop Iran from modernizing. Rotten and useless equipment from Russia (as in aircraft) has to be bought, when we have huge oil and gas reserves. Like the time of the Shah the rulers are allowed to waste money on financial intensive military goods or nuclear equipment, instead of hospitals and schools above ground where centrifuges are being spun. Go to Natanz, see how poor these honourable people are, and ask them how many schools there are. Count how many doctors have moved into the area ever since centrifuges were brought into huge bunkers undergound over there.

It saddens me to see all the wise people of this debate miss the most simplest solution to this saga, namely the threat of non-violent general strike. This is the only weapon that the modern world has against any nasty government. It took two days of a hint of strike by the post men in the UK and they got what they wanted. The press were behind them and the whole matter was resolved. We are human beings in Iran just like the people of Britain, but the British media refuses to advise the dictators in Iran that they are powerless against a general strike. Instead the media writes about the killings they get up to, and makes them look strong. They don't write and broadcast about the small strikes that the people of Iran are making. What if they did, and the people realised that their quest for freedom is making front page in The Times or The Economist. Wouldn't that encourage them to do the right thing? Of course it would. Hopefully that would cause the mullahs to react. The chain reaction would start and more and more people would get involved and the road to peaceful regime change would begin. This is not rocket science, and I am no genius. The media are the geniuses who have managed to prevent this from happening. Well done to the media of the world for keeping Iran in the dark ages.

Iran on Strike - is it happening correctly?

This picture is pretty close to what I think people perception of a National Strike is in Iran. They are wrong. It is as if I am trying to squeeze an elephant, through a small door.

The Iranian mind does not want to think out of the aggressive, confrontational box. The street marches put us on the wrong tracks.

But you kids insisted, and you made heros. I hated to see all that blood. But now what? The country is besieged by the Basij. It is as if the Russian army has moved in.

A National Strike is a concept that is used in the mind first, and then made into reality. We need to describe very fully its power, and its consequences to the other side. It is designed to change the nature of the other side to think it can talk to us and negotiate along civil lines.

The only time I will know that National Strike is working, is when the other side mentions it, and asks to talk to us.

Right here would be fine. Mr Mousavi is not part of this side of the equation. He is on the other side of the equation as well.

The US State Department says from now on it will be represented when the five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany meet with Iranian officials to discuss the nuclear issue.

There is absolutely nothing new that the US and the Seyyeds can say, that they have not said to each other before hand.

The good news is that for the first time, the US can ignore its intermediaries, such as Russia and EU. Now ask yourself, what have these intermediaries done all these years. Absolutely nothing for Iran or US, but plenty for themselves to get aid, financial or otherwise, for various projects not related to Iran, that they wouldn't have, if they had not had such a "closer than US" relationship with the Seyyeds.

It seems the US is fed up, or cannot afford to pay for go betweens or power brokers. It is saying, "hey I am all for disarmament, and what have you got to say" and it is calling the Seyyeds and their web of contacts bluff.

Good. But that still brings me to the question, "what are they going to say?" I mean they deal with the North Koreans directly, and they have the bomb. Heck they deal with Pakistanis, and many of them hate the US. So what's the big deal?

The big deal is this. The people of Pakistan can trade and come and go as they like. Their government does not create barriers on their people like the Seyyeds do. There is more freedom there. But in Iran the Seyyeds are ruthless and paranoid about their power base. They are there precisely for being anti-US. Take that away, and there is no so called "moral high ground" for the Seyyeds.

That all means that the people of Iran actually have the power, as they are the people who have ignored the Seyyed so called elections en-masse, and will abstain in totality. They made sure that the Seyyeds dig themselves into their own Mahdi bunkers and pushed them all to the top, so they can be seen clearly in the public eye. No true sane Iranian, that puts Iran First holds a public office.

So think of the situation the US has. It kept the mullahs in power to justify its military in the area now that its proxy the Shahanshah is no longer there. It knows that the mullahs in Iran have no foundation, and they will be thrown out soon, as soon as a massive non-violent general strike is carried nationwide in Iran. How about showing the people of Iran respect instead? The US never has. Fact is, that this non-Iranian bunch of bandits that control some of the instruments of power in Iran, are standing on shaky ground. In fact their only legitimacy is the slogan "Death to America". Take that away, and they have nothing. Obama just needs to utter the words, "non violent general strike", and the people of Iran will shut down Iran. But he does not do that. Why?

Oh actually the Seyyed/Theocrats have done something no power has ever managed to do since Cambyses II. World media supports Iran's Seyyeds/Theocrats

It is the same old rubbish every day. Elbaradei this, Nuclear that, US says this, UN says that, the Chinese uming and erring, the Russians delivering missiles or not delivering missiles, and finally Israelis attack or not attack.

All of this helps the Seyyeds/Theocrats to be up there in the world news, for no reason at all. We all know that the people of Iran do not support them, and given half a chance to express their view, will let the pro-Seyyed/Theocrat world press know, that they could topple them in a general strike.

So why isn't it happening? Why is it that the people of Iran just get their act together, and start to write about a general strike. Truth is, that they have, but it does not get mass media publicity. If the mass media really wanted, it could bombard the Seyyed/Theocrats with questions about their inability to survive a general strike.

But the mass media does not do this. That is why we Iranian Bloggers are the third largest community of Bloggers in the world. No one expresses our views for us. Why you may ask? Conspiracy theorists would say, that the Seyyed/Theocrats need to be there to replace the threat of USSR.

Even now with Obama, we are told, that the US forces and all the military industries in the US, will die out, if Iran suddenly was not enemy number one. Or Pax Americana would be finished without the Seyyeds/Theocrats making ugly comments from Iran.

But still, we Iranians should be able to sort out our own mess. Why don't we? Yeah why don't we? Well look, even the TV stations that are anti-Seyyed/Theocrats, like the VOA or the new BBC Persian TV dare not mention anything to do with general strike. And the very little anti-Seyyed/Theocrat news that is mentioned, is deemed to be of Israeli origin. Or if there is an Iranian that is a true secular Iranian, he or she is labelled as pro-Israeli, or someone who believes in dictatorship.

That's how crazy it is. All the Iran loving people are excluded from the powerful world press. They can only be found in Blogs and Forums. None of the main newswires care about them. Even the newswires own Iran correspondents refuse to rise above politics, religion and commerce, and look at Iran's culture coming first. They refuse to understand that the culture of Iran is more important than politics, religion, and commerce.

Ask any Iranian what he will agree with another Iranian on, and it is on cultural matters. Things like the flag should not have changed, the national anthem should not have changed. The names of the streets should not have changed. But the world press refuses to comment on this, and does not help us regain our culture with peaceful non-violent general strikes.

Like Obama's mesmerising speeches for Americans, the people of Iran then thought that money will be better distributed, and it is payback time for the super rich in Iran.I was not born in a super rich family, but even in our own family, the ones who were not there like my dad was, very close to the instruments of power, told us, "you had it real good, now it is our turn". No matter what we told them; that we should be united against this Tsunami that is about to hit us, our own cousins ignored us.So a moral high ground was lost. The very culture of being an Iranian was being threatened, and ultimately was removed from the public face. The name of Iran was changed. The flag was changed. The military who were supposed to be above politics had switched sides. So what would it take to get the oil price up, and get the US out of the area? Remember that ever since the US encircled Iran, it prevented both the Seyyeds from attacking anyone, and prevented the Arabs or Israelis to attack Iran. That crashed the oil price.

But let's reflect a bit. When GWB decided to jump into Iraq he knew that the US would be in charge of all matters in the area. That was different to the Democrat policy of letting the Israelis dictate matters. So this is what we are entering into. An era where the Israelis run the area, and the US pulls out most of its forces. That fits with what Obama wants. But this time there are no Iraqi threats to Israel. In those days the Seyyeds were involved big time with the Hamas and Hezbollah, but the world media would dare not mention it. Heck, the PLO helped Khomeini get into power, and brought that culture to secular Iran.

Thank goodness that finally the Seyyeds' influence in the area is under spotlight. Oh the western press will make a mountain out of a mole hill, and make the Seyyeds look terrible. The Seyyeds will love it, and will even think that they are going to get blessings more than other Islamic Arab states, that have done nothing against Israel. Ironically they will make the Arabs look pro-Israeli. No Arab state will ever push a button for a Mahdi, so they don't mind the Seyyed making all that noise, and winning the propaganda war.

But let's be practical. There needs to be a practical benefit for someone, for all this to happen. As usual we need to look at the price of Oil. It really did not go up, for all the Astrological reasons I have given, even with all the hoo haa the press made about Gaza and the Seyyeds. So ultimately it looks like any threat to the Israel nuclear facility will be the most scary proposition the Oil traders can be afraid of. That would balance out the threat of any attacks to Natanz or Bushehr.

This media theatre will be played out as and when they like. I can see a couple of scary comments coming from the Israeli about the imminent threat to their nukes, and how they might make pre-emptive strikes to Iran. They will all go long Oil futures just before that comment. That would wake up the US and they would try to play Mr Nice Guy to the Seyyeds. Or it would go the other way round, and the Seyyeds would tell the US to be nice to them, or else they would take out the nuke facilities in Israel, just before they went long Oil futures. Oh the media will have a field day with all these new permutations. The Oil price will fluctuate and everyone will make loads of money. A certain degree of inflation is better than deflation.

Until last week it was US this and US that, and poor old Russia has no force, and they are the "good guys". Go to any blog or forum in the web, and you see it filled up with how US did this to Iran, and how it removed Mossadegh, brought back the Shah. And normally you get an answer, from the more educated types, that in the 70's we had the Soviet threat to worry about. Jimmy Carter came around and called Iran something to the effect of "Iran was the bastion of stability". And then he did nothing when Khomeini came around. The Shah called it the alliance of Red and Black.

Now it has gone full circle, the Russians, are the bad boys again. They are no longer given the benefit of doubt. The right wing in the Western world breathes a sigh of relief. The nationalists who are above relgion and politics, also feel that they can finally tell the politicians, to forget their "democratization" ideologies, and think about national soverignity, which is more important. So hopefully in Iran, the nationalist sentiment will rise above political and relgious differences. We Iranians will put Iran above politics, religion and commerce.

What we can now say, is that the US will feel vindicated, that its campaign into Iraq is not unique. Or is it, that the US's actions in Iraq, led the Russians to believe that they can send their tanks and aircraft anywhere as well. And what are we to think, that the next escalation will be Iran, when one little skirmish between the IRGC and US forces erupts into a full scale war? As we can see, it does not take much to light up fireworks. Will Russia and the US want to cut up Northern Iran from Southern Iran. Will we become balkanized? These questions are old questions that we never thought would come around, but they have.

World history is full of scenarios like these, and for a moment I thought the 21st Century was going to be different. History repeats itself, but not exactly. We do not have a strong nationalist in Iran. We have a Royal Institution and Cyrus Reza Phalavi has been chosen to run it. We need to have the identity of Iran be asserted so that it does not become second to religion as it is now, or to democracy as a Federation of states. Iranian culture is winning against the Seyyeds and their religious dogma. People ignore them. But is the Royal Institution really doing enough. It has not really created an alternative council to uphold real Iran as opposed to this theocracy. And if it has, the media of the world have shut it out. More needs to be done on both the media side, and the Royal Institution side. Not even an alternative Council of Guardians that put nationalism above everything else, has been created. All the other little organizations are purely political.

Ironically the Iranian identity and self-concept is now very strong. We have all had to make big choices. The youth in Iran clearly know what they don't like. They do not like the Seyyeds. They do not like politics, religion, or big business. People want to have freedom to express and build what they want to do. That freedom to express and build comes from the Spirit of the Avesta, that has written some 15000 years ago, that "Gozineshi" is the only way to "Khorsandi". An Iranian wrote this, and it has remained in our hearts all this time. It is at the root of Free Will. The Iranian Free Will is there to save and unite us and it is winning against the Seyyeds and any future alien wherever it may come from; be it from the US side or the Russian side.

commodities, so Gold and notably oil went up in US Dollar terms. But
